What are the smallest stingrays species?
Hystryx?
Reticulated ?
Leopoldi ?

Some others ideas ?

And would be the biggest circular size in our tank ?
My tank is 9foot X 2,5foot X 2,5foot.

Is there a more little species recommend for my tank?

Hystrix Stingray the smallest of your list and would be fine in that size aquarium.

Yes, that or a mini marbled motoro if you can get one. The 2,5 feet front to back is the limiting factor, a male marble motoro would also probably be fine in there for life.

Wallacei (formerly hystrix) and small marbles are the smallest ones that are readily accessible. They are the smallest I have for sure.

Males are generally smaller than females, especially once females start breeding they really put on size. Quartz sounds very jagged and sharp. You want a smooth, rounded sand without silica, or anything that can irritate them.

I always thought rectics were the smallest.
Mine is a female around 3 years old and has a disc around 12 inches.

Ive kept rays for years and ive sold many small rays.
I have rays over 10 yrs old and adult female marbles less than 10inches

The histryx i sold years past were larger than marbles i have now.

I have only had a few liters since as im not agressivly trying to breed as well as keeping my eye on bloodlines but i will update

Sounds like you have a nice line of mini marbles, did they originate from Aquaman45 (Richard?) I cannot remember.
