Yes That is sweet.. But... Which book was it?

Alfred Russel Wallace!! Very well known & respected man !! Though He died almost 100 years ago hence leaving his limited findings in this area vastly unexplored and inconclusive. In fact even today we are finding that a year goes by and info is outdated and names are changed and classifictaions are CORRECTED.. As well as other info ;) Such as Sizes and what not.

So Which book was it you Said you read? I would like to read it as well.

go with the 8'x3' it better than what most gets...than those standard 2' width. =] good luck with an orinocensis

Fishes of the rio negro:D
it is in portuguese and english.
i didnt say i was getting an orino i was looking for a small bass and i thout that an orino was small:screwy: i would probably get a mono but i cant really plan, they sell them as tucunare and they are ussually wild so it could be a number of species.
what do you mean catfish lover?
how does this sound for a stocking list, 1 bass, 1 lima shovelnose 1-2 pikes i would really like an aro.

the only small cichla is a intermedia and they are not in the market right now... orincos can get 28 inches... but 8 feet by 3 wide is a good tank! ;)

Oh... er sorry its not a tank it a pond i can only dream for a tank that big:eek:
so i will deffinately get a bass. quick questions how many could i have? and do bass like to stay near the bottom or middle, like will i ever see the bass swimming around or not:confused:?
thanks a lot

pbass constantly cruise at all levels looking for food all day

if your asking for the smallest tank your looking for the wrong fish. but you should be fine with those dimensions. w/ pbass think of at least 5 gallon for each inch of fish. GL
