how can anyone think crappie donty taste good? they are as good as it gets if u know how to fillet and fry them right

noreaster how big is your tank, you do realize all the fish you want to keep are going to get quite large
i absolutely love smallmouth bass. they are aggressive, mean, and fun to keep. Again, they do grow somewhat slowy, that is more slowly than a largemouth bass. In my opinion they are the coolest cold water fish to keep in an aquarium, but make sure you have LOTS of space as they move around a lot. if you keep them in a small tank, they will become even more aggressive, leaving the potential for them to smash against the glass and injure or kill themselves
I have kept a small mouth bass, I started with 5 of them at under an inch, and they seemed to kill each other off with only one survivor who grew to about 6". Then i had to get rid of him cuz feeders were costing way too much to feed him. I have pics somewhere.
