well they are new to this tank. I got them about 3 days ago. But I think I am going to do weekly 20 percents and see how it goes.

What filter are u using?

ive never had that problem, but i don't see why not.. lots organic matter falling off it starting to decompose..

boiling/cleaning it will prevent that.

Alot of the time a smelly tank is from the presence of ammonia. However, foods such as hikari do bring on a strong smell - this should be gone after a couple of hours - so if your tank is constantly smelling wrong then I suggest you check your parameters again.

What test kit are you using? API is a good reliable brand

20 percent is far too little. 50 minimum!

cmon please..... I worked alot over the last couple of days and havnt had time to come on here, It already has gone away so before I get more attitude please can a mod close this thread. Im actually gunna stop asking for help if some people are going to tweak ,if I cant reply within a day so sorry. Ill just use google for now on thanks alot bud.
