My fish consumes about 5-6 lbs of food a week, I'd go broke if they're on massivore exclusively...

I varied their diets between 4 -5 lbs of smelt, 1-2 lbs of shrimp, a little of krill (beta carotene for color), seafood mix (squid, octopus, clams), a handful of algae wafers and massivore per week.

How would you compare massivore vs the combination of other seafoods? Have you ever fed each of those exclusively to see the difference?

I should of stated earlier that I understand that Massivore has more to offer but but cost ~50x more? Is the fish 50x healthier? Does it grow 50x larger/faster/more colorful?

I've bought maybe 6 or 7 rounds of 2.2lb Massivore but man, that got expensive. I stopped and just stock up on seafood.

use the seafood primary and massivore as supplementary. in the end pellet only isn't the greatest for the fish either. they have varied diets in the wild so if you want them to be the healthiest, you'll do the same.

I mix nls pellet, shrimp, scallops, tilapia, live feeders that I breed, and frozen variety. each feeding is different. My fish prefer the live, then the seafood, and the pellets last. Luckily for me the compete for food or they wouldn't even take the pellet. But apprently they'd prefer the other fish not have it.
