I'd love to get a fire eel someday when I have a monster tank for one. Biggest I have right now is a 75 gallon, so i'll be sticking with my peacock eel for now.

He's beautiful although im bias as my fire eel is my favourite fish well him and my BGK .I saw a 30 inch on youtube i posted vid here if you wanted to see him.

I've only ever seen one that big at the Vancouver Aquarium a few years back. I stayed at that tank for 1/2 an hour.

Very impressive!! (not to mention the huge tank space.....so envious)
