Reminds me of the story of the guy who snagged a baby L24 scarlet cactus that was in a shipment with bristlenose plecos, and paid the bn price. I think it was a thread on MFK (or maybe PC).

Wow nice score. Only pleco's I find locally are P. pardalis now no panaque's what so ever. Had to order my L90 on aquabid got it from Snookn. Mine loves the malaysian driftwood and also loves zuchini. Pics are a must tho.

My LFS always has a few varieties of plecos, mostly bristlenose and commons. This gives me hope that I can get my hands on one for cheap.

central Kansas doesnt have a great variety of plecs

sweet deal one time i got 2 90$ koi fish for 4$ at an lfs and i dont know how .....this was 10 years ago...they grew to about 16" before i donated them to someone with a pond....so id like to think that giving them away for free that i payed it forward for good karma
