hi there, i was just wondering, if i put some small snails in my tank, will they crawl up the side and out, norally i have a lid on my tank, but in the small one, i am wanting to use the light system for other purposes...? so will the sails leave the water, and adventure elsewhere, coz i was thinking that surely they would want to stay in the water where they live? thansk for any help.

I have never had snails get out of the tank. I think your okay!! :headbang2

Snails don't want to get out, they will dry up.

Pond snails or ramshorn will stay in the water brigs or canas(apple/mystery) climb out to lay eggs and can end up on the floor

ya i dont think they will crawl out. well i have never had some do that

Pond snails should stay put

"Should" stay put! Like I said, I've never had a snail come out of the water and tank.
