Snail in w/d Sump?

well i would go with gost shrimp good cleaners at least in my tank and there good emergicy feeders :)
 
I considered putting snails in my sump... I was worried though that baby snails would get into my pump and jam it.
 
After I put snails in one of my tanks I noticed that I had less larger debris and more finely broken down material. I adjusted my filtration and now my water is very clear, hardly any large particles when I clean my filters.
I did have some eggs and I think they hatched, but I see no signs of baby snails. ofcourse I have no idea what Im looking for LOL. Are they obvious? I dont know if they hatched or were finally eaten. They were hanging around for a couple of weeks and now they are gone.
 
when i build my sump i'll put a prefilter on the pump and add some snails and ghost shrimp, maybe even a couple smaller fish that i *secretly* like haha.
