^ It worked for me in the past... although i didn't have a bad snail infestation... in which case, if it was bad, it may take a few times to remove the majority of snails...

op sorry to thread jack, also i'd like to comment that i chose assassin snails because they're slow to reproduce. i figured once i get a good population going though i could ship them to my lfs. plus they're pretty niftly little guys. they eat leftover food that my arowana drop.
