Ok. Can Somebody who's not a complete ass explain to me why he can't just pick out the snails? (yes that was a compliment. :p )

Lol @ fake websites. I'd like to see you dedicate a website to my failure. It would make me feel like I've accomplished something! How's that for reverse psychology? ;)

re: "Can Somebody who's not a complete ass explain to me why he can't just pick out the snails?"

I used to have a snail problem in my 46g bowfront that was heavily planted. I had maybe 100 snails--most very tiny, but growing. I would have to literally rip up my tank to find them all (on the wood, plants, substrate, etc.), and would likely miss the eggs too. If I just had a bare tank, sure no problem. I don't know how I got so many snails so fast, but I was buying a lot of different plants at the time.

you didn't have to do that, she is just slow. now that is has been a few days she might have gotten it figured out. ex. a few days ago she asked about an emu like bird in this state. we don't have emus. the closest thing we have would be a sandhill crane. she then asked if i was sure with the id since she couldn't get a good discription out other then a tall gray bird in a field. i responded that it also could have been a llama. she still took a go 20mins to believe me that it was a crane. i gave her the name and she has a smart phone so all she had to do was look it up on goole to see that i was right again, but she now thinks it was a llama.

That's not how it happened! And I said it kind of had a profile like an emu! Geez...So dramatic!

Thank you Ragtopracer. I sincerely appreciate the patience and civility of your answer.

+1 for clown loach.
I abused the lil fella by not feeding any sinking food, in about a months time all snails disappeared and he started coming to surface for food.
I started sinking pellets post that.
Occasionnaly I spot a snail or 2 and stop the sinking pellets, he gets the cue ;)
