Snails and flowerhorns

Another thing I considered but Im real paranoid of sand getting stuck in it and scratching the glass lol.

Maybe my only option through.

I normally use the edge of an old bank card/store card it has worked great for years untill I got my FH ?.

He's the only fish I've ever had that doesn't seem scared by anything, that's the first time he's bit me but he's always trying.

He's only 6 inch now I don't want a bite from him when he's fully grown ?.

Yeah if he’s doing damage like that at 6 inches I’m afraid to see what a 10 inch guy would do...

I keep a flowerhorn in a 75gal by himself, when he was about 3in he shared it with a bn but one day the bn was just…dead. No damage from what I could see but yeah, so I threw in some trumpet snails and boy have they taken off in population. Never see him bother with them but I’m also not watching him 24/7. He’s about 9” so may not be worth it for him. Honestly even if he was eating them I’m not sure I’d be able to tell.
