very fast. I threw a few in my 150 a couple of months ago and no joke I have hundreds, I have found them in my sump, they are in the U tube the overflow box and on the glass as well, but hey the help keep the algae down. I have heard of problems with them clogging filters and such luckily havent had that problem yet

I remove gelatine like stuff out of my tank whenever I can spot it to keep my snail population in control. So far, so good.

The baby snails tend to be quite small so your fish might find them before they develop into adults... Keep an eye out tho!
