Oh man... how badly id love to get rid of these snails... If someone gives me a sure fire way to get rid of snails that doesn't involve me draining my whole tank and cleaning everything I will paypal them 5 bucks... OR e-mail money transfer them 5 bucks... just for a lil insentive.... IN MY TANK I HAVE... 8 Exodons that LOVE to nip at fish... I just got them today SOOO i don't know if they will eat the snails over time... fingers crossed for that if i can't find a way... Im willing to spend up to 30 bucks getting rid of these snails forever... and if u can find me a method todo it under 10 bucks... ill raise that insentive to 10 bucks... SOOO lets hear these ideas

I has to be able to work under my situation... and remember drainng the tank and cleaning everything isn't an option since i have EVERYTHING in the tank planted and placed how i want... Its kind of a last resort for me if i can't find another way
 
What kind of snails are they?
 
I have no idea... they are little little snails... by the 1000's... everywhere...... like a 1/8 of a inch... or 2-3mm's ...
 
Those are pond snails.
They have thin shells. They can be controlled with Clown Loaches.
I had 27 Exodon in a tank with a shoal of 5 clown loaches. The loaches were never touched because they are scaless, dark in color, and stay close to the bottom.
 
If you don't mind adding more fish, then I would go with clown loaches. I have a pair of two at the store that I solely use for clearing snails out of the many tanks. They get transferred every week and are getting big snacking on all of the snails.
 
All ya need to do is borrow a couple of clown loaches for about a week.
 
I have never had loaches before, but I have controlled snails with large bala sharks and ascellus (sp.?) puffers. The puffers are small, though, and would probably get eaten in your case.
