Snails ok for cichlids?

Well you're right that in this case i shouldnt risk it. Since i really dont know if they have been exposed.

But in the other case. You shouldnt just feed your cichlids pellets and only pellets. They need a variety of food. Especially Oscars since they are so prone to HITH. A varied diet has proven effective in warding off HITH among other things.


I'll just continue to buy his bugs and worms. I hate paying for stuff that crawls around outside. Stupid pesticides.

how do we REALLY know about how the bugs we buy are raised? we dont we believe what we are told or read on the labels. like "spring" water? i get my own bugs out of the woods or dig for my own in the yard( i dont spray ).

they might be fine but ur cichlids might try to eat them and they multiply fast.... like wildfire
