I agree, with livebearers, gestation is usually 4 weeks or more. With cons, you can pop out a few hundred fry every 3 weeks or so.

With mine it was every two weeks. Then I got some juvie "severums" that turned out to be RD's. No need for explanation.

NIce, tempting to get my own pair established. Would be tough to deal with fry unless I picked up some major carnivores. Only meat eater I have now is a baby senegalus..

How big? I think a senegalus of any size would make short work out of a batch of cons. Just put the fry in with the senegalus... 1 week with senegalus= 0 fry.
