indiana
yesterdayi found cotton picken snails in my 125:irked: so my question is what fish will eat the little buggers and be ok with the tank mates. 1-7" jag, 1-8" pleco, 1-3" pleco, 1-3" striped rapheal cat.

Botia loach will do it and I dont think the jag will bother on if you can find a 3-4 inch one. They have pretty good deffense mechanisms to deal with such fish. I have had no problems with keeping them with larger cichlids.

clown loaches all the way

anybody in northern indiana area have a good size loach for sale i really dont want snails

One question... what kind of snails are they? If they are MTS, the loaches won't do too much against them. If they are the small pond snails, then a loach is your best option.

i really dont know yet. they are really small. if they are trumpets what is my solution? what about puffers?

For trumpets, tie a piece of lettuce to a rock and let it sit in the tank overnight. Before daylight get up and turn the lights on. It should be covered in snails. Simply remove it and you've removed a lot of snails.

Alternatively, you can stop feeding the fish for a few days and the snails will start to climb up the side of the glass.
