I don't think it's impressive that it caught the cockatoo or swallowed it, but that it killed it. I'm assuming you've never handled an angry cockatoo. They are pretty strong and have a very impressive bite. I was restraining a Lesser Sulfur Crested over the summer as he was having his wings clipped. He bit me, so I just let him go completely to calm down. Had I not done that, I no doubt would have had a broken finger and I have a little bit of permanent nerve damage in that finger...and the bird the snake ate is even a little bigger than the one I was handling. With a well placed bite, I have little doubt the cockatoo has the capability to kill the snake. People are afraid to feed live cause their snake might get bitten by a rat...I'd MUCH rather have a rat bite me than another cockatoo...evilxyardxgnome;2382279; said:Why is it incredible for a snake to grab a bird?
