Raymond, federal law still bans possession of snakeheads. And please do not discuss anymore about possession of such or else this thread will be closed.

If you want to compensate for something buy yourself a really long car a la peter griffin, not a big fish that you can't/don't want to take care of.

Actually, to get from California to Texas, you would in fact have to cross state boarders. They have boarder patrol on I-10 when you cross over from AZ to CA.

Idiots like that keep fish for the wrong reasons, thats why I am offended. Like I say, some men get into fish to compensate for their inadequacy. Whats so cool about seeing one animal destroy another? I can understand animals need to eat, but there is alternatives. Plus recording it clearly shows its all for entertainment value. Im offended by anyone who does this. They are keeping animals for the wrong reasons.

What's even more offending is his taste in music. That just proves that he's trying to act tough and show off.

I love channas and would love to keep one or two, but for a completely different reason than this guy does. I find their behavior, colors and patterns, and intelligence fascinating. I saw some at a local aquarium a few weeks ago (they have permits to display the two Channa argus) and could not stop watching them. One of them was not to fond of me though, it kept hiding.

Not as bad as the doushbag that threw a 10" or so albino oscar into a piranha tank, and filmed it.:( That can be found on youtube aswell.

There is another vid on you-tube where someone throughs a 13" arowana in a piranha tank! NOT COOL>

The Alligator Gar vs. The Snakehead of the same size (side video from your link) was a much cooler one IMO! No permanent damage, but the snakehead got shown who's the boss no?

No. Feeding a Snakehead to a Gar is just as ignorant as feeding a Bass to a Snakehead IMO. I remember seeing a video once of a baby redline being fed to a Red Devil that was somewhat larger than the Snakehead. It was just as bad as some of the Snakehead eating ___ videos, but after reading the comments, people seemed happier with the result. :screwy:

Oh, and btw, a 10" Bass is not a "big ass Bass"...lol

Oh, and that's why we can't have Snakeheads in the US.

Besides, the reason that the Snakehead didnt even kill the Bass is that it didn't wanna eat the thing...it was a territorial attack. And that Redline is in waay too small a tank.

Whomever is eating what, IMO I say the eater needs to be sufficiently larger than the eatee in order to take it in one fell swoop. This suffering of a half eaten fish still gasping is ridiculous. Regardless if the "feeder" is a bass, rosey, guppy, whatever.
