In the caiman den
I need a snake ID. this is gonna be difficult because i do not have a pic. yet. Im hoping to get the pic from my mom. I can describ it the best i can. 20" to 24" gray with brown octagonal spots. head from the pic is hard to discern but it is not triangular. Honostly im nearly sure its some sort of python. under teh octagonal spots thier are some small random brown spots. toung is black

If u have a guess post it with a pic of ur guess. My mom will try to get me the pic sometime today hopefully.

Might have the body in a few minutes. My mom killed it:irked:

sucks it got killed ,

very much so. i told my mom, if its not ID as venom then do not kill it. IMO it shouldnt be killed no matter what but.....

Gonna have the body in a few minutes. thinking it might be a rat snake

:O dude

yea i am the same my parents were freak at snakes as well , anyways cant wait for the pic .

damn! snake gone. must gotten eatten. will try to get the pic.

edit*snake is pretty much ID as a rat snake. Ill try to get the pic for positive ID but hopefully soon

dang, I just now saw this, you beat me to it.

Damn :( I hate people who stereotype animals and kill what they don't understant... so ignorant

Is it a Ratsnake, Lep?

Sounds like a ratsnake...could be a young black rat too, they don't turn solid black until they're well grown.
