snake racks

No mater how you build the racks...it will ALWAYS be cheaper and safer in the long run to heat the ROOM rather than the enclosures.

Bakers racks with the wire shelving and tubular uprights work great for a fairly low cost and most of them come with wheels to make feeding and cleaning easier. The big warehouse places like Costco and Sam's club usually have the best prices on them.

I don't know about that! I recently paid $500 to top off my oil tank. No way keeping a room at 80+ degrees is cheaper than heating individual crates/tubs/tanks. It's not always practical to heat a room. I mean, you have to live there too, you know?
I currently have a 30G turtle tank, 72 G fishtank, 20L& 10G snake tanks up and running (All heated and lit seperately in multiple rooms in my house) and I haven't put a dent in my electric bill.;)

If you get an area heater/room heater rather then using central heat in the entire house it may be cheaper ;)

What if you want to keep your pets in various parts of the house?;)

The best Rack & Cage Maker I know of has been building cages and racks for over 15 years and not only a maker of such items but is also one of the largest breeders of Boas around and knows what keepers need and look for in racks or cages. His cages are good for not only Boas but also Geckoes, Rodents, Turtles and Turtoises:
