could you have a giant snakehead and peacock bass in a 8x4x3 tank if so how many or could i put anything else in with these fish

keeping anything with a giant snakehead i taking a big risk. sooner or later, the bass is going to get hurt/killed

IME, it can be done.. you just need to grow them up young.. preferably the bass being slightly bigger than the giant.. but then again, anything with giant snakehead is a gamble.. I was lucky mine got along with other fishes..

mine lives with a pacu. the micro is at 13" while the pacu is like 16-18" and 2" thick! I guess it's still too much for the micro. :D

i would recommend bulky and strong fish that won't back down on the micro.:D

Yes but JUST FOR A WHILE xD

a lot of people use P.Bass as feeders for snakeheads in Asia ^^ hehe

heh m8 m8!
Don't unrespect the snakeheads, your snakehead can eat up that Pacu if he want to :)
But the thing is that he doesn't want to waste he's energy on your pacu, that's why the situation is fine atm.

mother nature is awesome lol ;) !

I had this same question. My issue is the snakeheads growth rate is so much faster than my bass I'm keeping my fingers crossed

i've seen a giant SH in a tank with other fish it just depends on the individual character and obviously having other fish too big too eat ! the tank in question was 14 ft long so plenty of space for territories to be established,in a smaller tank i would go for a smaller species of channa like pleuro or parachanna obscura
