i got my emperor channa eating spirulina flake lol. also eats all hikari foods. the trick is starving the channa

Hmmmm, don't you guys think it will somehow slow the fish's growth(by starving)? I was hoping to make my micro exceed the 3' mark. Maybe i'll try to starve mine for a week.

nah short starvation periods r actually healthy cuz wild fish dont eat everyday! as long as u dont starve them for like months on end :s

haha i duno about that....my snakeheads ripped my silver arowana (larger) apart even wen they had FULL TUMMIES!

Feeding them pellets is kinda' funny since they are great predators. I'm planning on putting my micro in my aquarium for a while so i will be feeding him chicken fillet to keep him from thrashing around his food(which might be a hazard to aquarium).
