Snakehead in canal.

Hi guys,

While i was on my way home yeaterday i saw a 1.5-2ft snakehead in the canal below my house.i have heard that they are an invasive species, so I'm worrying that they will stay in Singapore's water.im hoping the fish i saw is a catfish or birchirs but the eyes and mouth don't look like one, sorry no pic bro, the fish surfaced on top of the water and dived down quickly.Should ava be informed if its really a snakehead? the U.S kid of panic when they found it in their water.

U.S. kinda panic? They got rid of even the small species of channa because some clown let a few go in Maryland and the big snakeheads took over a small pond. I had a giant snakehead back when they were legal in the states. Powerful animal!

I dont know about up north but the Bullseye Snakehead is very prevalent in south florida.

I'd be more worried if it was a Bichir since they are from Africa
