Yes, i called fish and wildlife. Some states you need a permit, some you can't have them , some you can. I am lucky to live in a state where you can have them!

10 year old thread. Give it up. SHs are federally banned in all US states and territories. Maryland was the last hold-out on dwarf species being allowed. However, the federal ban makes trafficing any SH or their eggs across state lines illegal. Therefore, no one from MD can ship them. Besides, no one has heard a peep from any dwarf SH keepers from MD in years.
