So my dad bought a fish home from an Asian food store and I just woke up and was a bit sleepy so I though it was a catfish and felt bad for it so then put It in a 17 gallon bucket with declorinated water and realized it doesn't have whiskers then I saw a spot on its tail like a bullseye snakehead or could in be a bowfin? Either way it's gonna die so just wanna know what it is?

Does your Asian food store sell them live? Right out of tank, like lobsters?

Oddball can see anything that needs ID'ing.
I think bowfin are pretty awesome. I would keep them if they were available to me. I'll just stick with my Channa Micropeltes

I cant see them either. Hey let us know how they taste - I catch these all the time and was told they weren't good for eating - never 100% believed it by the people who told me though
