I'm in India right now, I caught a cool snakehead but i don't know wich one i caught... :/

the top of the body was black and the underbody where white and it had some brown lines...

Wich one could it be? I caught it in Kolkata...Is it a Gachua? But the top of their body's does'nt turn into black don't they?

Funny ,I was under the impression that the spot where barca are caught was secret. Mind informing me how you caught the barca? What I mean to say is what method was used?

i was on a trip to a place called baihata,a few miles off the city and there are some lowlands there where the river brahmaputra regularly floods,caught some fish there including a barca,was about 14inches.bait was earthworm.well there isnt any secret place for barca its just that they are rare.its called garaka cheng in assamese.weird lookin fish if you ask me...

aircut,dont forget to go to local fish markets.esp some suburban type,you are sure to find many kinds of SHs

All the barca that have been caught and brought into the aquarium market have not once been caught on a hook and line. There is a reason for that, so I will just assume you are talking about an auranti snakehead and not the barca.
