i am vastly progressing in the large fish trade and i am hearing alot about snake heads and i wanted to get one or two juveniles.... the question was can i get them any nere the rhode island area.... or online shipped here.....

It's really hard to find these fish nowadays because there is a national ban on snakeheads. If you do find some, they costs more that what they or you are used to paying for three years ago. 10 to 20 times more. I've seen some for sale online that is usually in the Northern California Area. Maybe someone is breeding them there, I don't know. Then again, you have an international airport there, and also international port. Good luck finding them. You also might want to apply for a permit to obtain them. Fish and Wildlife told me that if you are going to study them for research or for educational purposes, you may be granted a permit to have them.
