So as many you you know, my backyard is spawning area for many bass and snakeheads, well last night I was wondering if they were back since i was seeing big swirls and dirty bubbles everywhere (thats a sign that theres a snakehead in the area) so I grabbed my 7fter and tied an inline spinner on it. On my second cast I casted over towards a boat and as I was erattically reeling it in making sure it left a wake, something big and brown smashed it and took off. I have on 15lb Power Pro and heavy drag and this monster just kept taking line. I knew I had a snakehead and a big one, but just how big I didnt know....

Finally got the beast to where I could see him and OH MY GOD this is the biggest damn fish I've caught in the river.

A good 15lbs and 42 inches I would say.

The only way I can hold them is underneath the gill plates but they arent that big to get a good grip. Walking up the dock to take a picture, it wiggled with everything it had and flopped back into the depth from which it came...:(

Sure it might sound like a fish story to those who havent seen my previous SH catches, so for those you havent here are my previous

they are horrible to the environment but man those things are beasts.

Awesome man, I would love to hook into one of those.

Very much so....it got me laid, no questions asked....now I gotta rely on good old fashion "game" and chloroform.....:naughty:

But its not like I can rock long hair at the office or when i go meet clients....
