per fishbase 24.5 cm but alot of books say 15 -20 cm, opinions seem to vary on this one but it would be cool to get them up to 10" :D

I never had either...I had seen some pretty cool pics of them though (I think they were in the labyrinth fish Aqua-log?)

Agree completely, I think they are closely related to gouramis...don't quote me on that though :D
