snakeheads legal in U.S.?

transporting the fish in or out of the state is illegal though, and being that they don't naturally occor in maryland that would make the ones not breed there illegal.

i live in MD and some species of snakehead are legal to own here but its still harder than a witche's teet to aquire one! I've been trying to get one for awhile and i've about given up...almost.

the closest fish u can get to a snake is a highfin wolf. where in MI u from?

i'd say the gold wolf is closer to a snakehead in terms of activity, power and tenacity of pursuing prey. i have both, highfin and gold wolves, and the golds are by far the more active in my experience. but alas, in the end they are still not a snakehead....
