Mate we all like predatory fish,just 99.9% of predatory fish can happily eat pellets/prawns etc, ive had oscars/jags/polleni/snakeheads/bycron/birchirs/lots of central american cichlids,shovel noses n redtail catfish. not one of my fish ever at a live fish, basically live does not have nutrional value and could habour dieseases and would you want to risk an exspensive fish?

we all have our own taste, mine is snakeheads, what cooler pet can you get than a snakehead? some people will say goldfish some say pleco but we are all entitled to our own opinions, if people dont like monster fish DONT SIGN UP!

calm down mate, we kill live animals to eat ok so now we eat them dead, if we need to stop it in captivity why no do it in the wild? because thats the way mother nature made them, you cant argue against that, if its happens it wild let it happen in captivity.
why are you even on this site if your slagging our community down, some people are scared of oranges, we still eat them, i bet some people are scared of guppies, im scared of spiders, but im not scared of snakeheads, they're just another animal in this world which inspires me to keep them going.

Maybe because they have so many fry in there broods, with that and parents caring for the brood 110% and how hungry they always are, they will eat eat eat, giving your local fish a run for there money and winning,
But if you want to be so narrow minded then thats your problem, and yeah i was actually about to pop out and hug a tree, which one would you suggest
once again. The reason behind banning of snakeheads in USA is because irresponsible fish keepers releases their snakeheads into native rivers and stuffs.
