I personally would never do this, however a question makes me wonder:could water snakes be kept with fish?I have read water snakes are sensitive to blisters, though. What about elephant trunk snakes?fully aquatic, and could possibly be kept with medium to large fish.Possibly young anacondas.YOUNG!!!As seeing they spend most or alot of their time in water.Oh yes, please dont tell me it won't work, because I would vever do this.Unless it was possible :)

BUMP

i kept my green anaconda with fish up until the day she died. and it was not the fish that killed her. i am not going to explain the story again go to the thread r i p anna nicole to get the full story. i have also seen some incredible enclosures with snakes and fish and think they are going well beyond the basics for snakes. i think it is a very cool thing and applaud any snake owner that does it.

ive seen pythons with tinfoil barbs no problem

I cant visualize a python that is capable of living in a normal aquarium:confused:

Hmmm, all of this is quite interesting.dde1878,what fish were with your anaconda?

The elephant trunk snakes aren't fully aquatic either. Either way you will be losing fish as they are food.

Oh!I always thought they were!Good thing I haven't kept one yet, lol.I wonder what pythons were housed with tinfoil barbs.Im thinking this is kinda like turtles and fish.Hit or miss, and mostly miss. Now If you think about it,I think, for instance,an aro and a ball python(JUST AN EXAMPLE DON"T TAKE IT SRSLY).I doubt the ball would be able to swallow it.And if the ball was full grown,I doubt the aro could swallow it.

I kept fish with my green anaconda as well...

This was before a knew squat about fish, so it took me a few tries to find the right species lol... Here's my tank. Theres a convict cichlid in the far right corner. (Yes, I know they would eventually have out grown the tank and all that good stuff)
