I hope your pond is far away from any river or tributary. If they can survive out of water for several days, as the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Fisheries poster stated, then the thing could flop its way to a stream or river.

i had one a while back, got rid of it when it outgrew my 150 (which didnt take long)

It's not that snakeheads cant be trusted but more of the hungry fish cant be trusted...feeders stay live in a predator tank cause the preds are still full...but when they get hungry the feeders are toast, so probably the SH's got hungry, which they always are IMO, specially red's

Lol Oh why oh why keep SH in Malaysia unless you are in restaurant business? Guess you found that they are good as feeders too ... hmmm wonder who dinned on them - probably RTC or one of the hybrids (your monster silver perhaps? that would be fitting i think). At least SH ate only one baby aro - could be worse.
