Snapper sunbathing

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My snapper is about 6 inch carpace now in less than a year, got him at the size smaller than a nickle. He NEVER comes out of the water, cool to see though

6"???? Mines only around 4" or under but is in cold water. Urs ever start hunting?

Thenx y'all!

I'll try posting a video sometime, for now I'll keep posting pictures.
HPIZZLE, I'll show the enclosures, but not all in one.
Thanks for the compliment btw.
All I do is toss some ornaments in with the animals. I swear.

The watertemperature is 25 celcius, and this is him today:

He lives with guppys, shrimps and prawns.
He only catches the guppys tho.
One of these days I really got to start building their bigger enclosures.
I hope one indoor pond for the two of them is enough, cause I've got to realize
at least one more pond for the two red bellied sliders,
and three big terrariums.
Tegu, bosc monitor and male Burm are planned for those three.
Next to the enclosure for either the Paleosuchus palpebrosus or Osteolaemus tetraspis.
A group of at least three of them. Tetraspis is highly endangered so thats really a done deal.
Never can have too many crocodillians. ;)
May have to move to a bigger house cause I only have one bedroom. LOL

As said I dont like plastic in my tanks, but in this case it looks and works all right.
The openings enables the shrimps and guppy's to escape the jaws of Machilla.
Nice tail eh?
