23 lbs! what a heffer, LOL!!

Eveyone says its a bad idea, and I agree for the most part. They have enough room at the moment and won't be together much longer.

The slidders where around first, I know that doesnt make much difference to a predator like a snapping turtle.

Huge. Only about 219 pounds. lol

it takes about 50-70 years to reach that size. And they'd have to eat non stop to get that big.

On average, their shells get about 18-22". They could probobly reach about 35-45 lbs like that. The thing is, like most reptiles, they dont stop growing.

Yeah i recommend feeding freshly cooked(and let it cool down) chicken. Mine loves it but will only eat it late at night.... do that overy other day and your set... mine will eat a whole fillet when he's hungry..


Oh yeah.... cut the chicken into small enough pieces so that he doesn't choke on his chicken! lol
