Snapping turtles are capable of eating things such as stones, plastic tubing, termometers,etc if we allowed them to. THEY ARE NOT PICKY, a live mouse is taken with just as gusto as a unfrozen one, there is no excuse for this. "But its a natural process" some say, heck THIS IS NOT THE WILD, this is somebody´s tank. And then filming it so that everybody can sher?!...
You notice how he starts it out with shots of hamsters, rats, and mice playing having fun, like it's some small & furry lover video, then BAM, dead rat.
That's sickening... the way the video was set up, you get the impression that the keeper gets some kind of satisfaction from doing that. And we Reptile keepers wonder why people think we're nuts.
