Snapping turtle live meal time *WARNING-GRAPHIC VIDEO*

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Snapping turtles are capable of eating things such as stones, plastic tubing, termometers, etc if we allowed them to. THEY ARE NOT PICKY, a live mouse is taken with just as gusto as a unfrozen one, there is no excuse for this. "But its a natural process" some say, heck THIS IS NOT THE WILD, this is somebody´s tank. And then filming it so that everybody can sher?!...:screwy:

heh, that was awesome. that is what would happen in the wild...might as well give your animals a little sport once and a while.
Get a unfrozen mouse, a pair of big tweezers and wriggle it in front of the turt, it can't tell the difference and it can have some hunting

You notice how he starts it out with shots of hamsters, rats, and mice playing having fun, like it's some small & furry lover video, then BAM, dead rat.

Like others said, I understand it's what would happen in nature, but there's no need to glorify it like that. It's a video about torturing small mammals, not a feeding video.

That's sickening... the way the video was set up, you get the impression that the keeper gets some kind of satisfaction from doing that. And we Reptile keepers wonder why people think we're nuts. :irked:

its insane how it ripes i in half!

Crazy how it got ripped in half n tried to swim away also did anyone notice the advertisment above it LOL

My point exactly. It seems that the Turtle's keeper gets some strange pleasure from doing it. Next Dahmer, perhaps?
