why so tall ... and how in the heck are you going to clean that beast .. i always thought the footprint was more important then the height?? but i bet its going to be SWEET!!

yeah its really 3ft wide...look at the sump on the ground. thats a 90g tank 3x2x2 for comparison

i think a 6x3 footprint is good. besides, im not keeping monster bass like tems/pinimas/azuls. orinos dont get as big. and you better believe a pbass will use all of the 3ft height in a tank. 2ft tall tanks just seem too short for cichla

i dont even know where to begin lol i think today ill take it slow and paint the back black and buff the whole tank out to get it nice and ready.

then ill tackle the plumbing. this tank has bottom returns so im still trying to figure out how im gonna use that
