Snook compatability

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
how large of a tank would I need for 6 full grown snook? would love three reds three wild color

Males are supposed to get 20 inches, females 12, so that'd have to be one big tank. I'm not good at tank size guessing, but I'm going to say, 300-400 gallons.

If you can find normal morph snooks in AZ pm me ASAP plz :)

believe me i am trying cant even find them online, rapps has pics on his site but no listing for a price. would say two snook and maybe 4 angels?

because of their paper thin mouths, they will get along with anything too small to eat. sometimes they nip, but no serious fighting

cool will prolly either end up with severum or angels then. still gonna be looking for a tank around christmas time. kinda off topic for the thread but how exactly do you clean sand in fish tanks all i have ever had is gravel

just don't stick the python directly into the sand. it is easier to see uneaten food and poop, actually

so just hold the siphon a few inches above the surface?

perfect

sometimes I only use the tube, not the head attachment, because it has greater force.
