Snookn needs the right advice

That is a Mala too i believe, they seem to pattern quite different depending on the spot of collection.
As far as keeping dats w/ cichla it depends on how big the dats are. You've seen pics of my tank....no decor at all. Ive got dats from 5.5"-10" and cichla from 10-16"+ and no issues. It just all depends on the fish. Dats are ballsy and have a tall body w/ spikes making them hard to eat.
As far as wolf fish....Look at JL's tank....he's got an aimira or two w/ a gang of other fish. I think it just depends on the fish and stock in general. As well as how often you feed your fish.

Im not worried about the dats getting eaten by the cichlas.
They are fine together.
I just wanted personal input on wolf fish.
I am most worried of the wolf fish eating the dats or my snook, even my xingu 2
They are all small enough to fit in his mouth.
Yet still do fine with the peacocks.
Hope the wolf fits in!
