both mine hit frozen cubes of blood worms like mad not any type of freeze dried foods i wish tho because those mysis shrimp are very nutrient rich
 
Where they coll0ected in Guyana or Guiana? If I'm not mistaken, Guyana ocell will start to show a high (third rosette) darker then the first two.
 
Guyana... Mine are very stubborn... If anyone has any tricks LMK. These guys are only 2-2.5 inches and they are barely showing dorsal spangles.
 
Ok....i was wrong. Guiana have the high (third rosette) darker then the first two. Sorry bout that. Great Guyana ocells. You know the lake/river it was collected from?
 
revived...any updates? I will have some when I can use the camera...lol

My "point and shoot" camera got dropped in the lake. :(

BTW, 2 of mine are on pellets, 2 on nothing still...

Wow, I looked back at this thread and I sounded so stupid when I got these guys...lol

I have 6 of these, about 4" now. Moving them into a 55 from a 20 soon. All are devouring Hikari sinking carnivore pellets now. After getting them on Tilapia, I started rolling the strips in Hikari mini pellets. slowly reducing the tilapia. First only one would take pellets. The rest caugh on quick. Beautiful fish! I will need to sell a few as they get bigger. Don't have enough room.
