snooks?

Well here in florida ive caught common snook, swordspine, fat, and tarpon snook.. All in brackish water. Id say the water where ive caught them is probably 90% fresh if not more. Snook and tarpon can adapt to freshwater so im pretty sure you shouldnt have a problem keeping them in the tank. Make sure you have a monster setup though, snook get huge.

uhhh whichever survives cold water the best. And can tarpon, like actual tarpon, survive colder temperatures? I have a 1750 gallon pond cycling at the moment with darters, 2 bullheads, and a bushel full of sunfish

Survive in Indiana winters? Sorry, there isn't any snook species that can handle those temps. Most fold at around 60F. Even in Florida, snooks congregate around hot springs during winter cold snaps.

Last winters cold snap left thousands dead all over here in Miami and the rest of Florida...... The water got to around 40 - 45 down here and its not a cold state..... Unless you have massive heaters you won't be able to house these monsters
