Snow Aro vs Regular Silver

Infact isn't the Snow varient caused by Leucism?? So Silver arowana would not necassarily be an incorrect id or even close to incorrect. Let me know if it is a different species so that I can understand.

it is not "R1's" fault defining it as Platinum... the word platinum has been synonymously associated to white-platinum color by fellow hobbyist. this is the reason why some of us or most of us like me would classify our fish with different color as platinum when they are white or whitish...:D

besides.. it is platinum for some of us and leucism for some.. the word "leucistic" does not even exist in the dictionary.. maybe later on.... :D

hard to define some fish in colors then....:(

Sure rarity can be debated(but without certainty), surely it's one of a couple in the u.s..And we don't know what the many collectors who don't venture onto this site may keep/have possession of. Either way. Great fish. Whether it's uber rare or not.. :)

I consider the Japanese as a high demanding country for excellent quality with no tolerance to rejects. That is why they are extremely successful for the past several decades.:D

in fish keeping... they maybe a small country with small space to spare but they have what it takes to be on the the top.

i think i over did what i said... let's just think of it that Japan will open it's doors for us to share the hard to find fish they have... and for some species... we just need to sit down, relax and enjoy it from a distance.:D

better avoid getting butt hurt that they have it and we don't... :D

when the time comes... lets be patient.:D:D:D... oppss there goes a mystery again.:grinno::naughty::):D:ROFL:

True this should be handled face to face. So tell me when you have time during the week so we can discuss this in person. Forget the phone call we can handle this in person.

WOW! YES YES they both do look nice, but i prefer the snow. May one inquire as to the source of these lovely specimens.:)

don't feel bad.... i stop selling fish to all non vendors except for li.... but only because he agreed to be my garbage disposal....... i don't even need to ask i just tell him a awb and when to pick up...... and most the time i give him fish at cost:nilly:
