 wow i never even knew they had those types. very nice. how much do those cost??

:edit: nevermind, i read the other post.

meiling they are very rare, and even more expensive.[/QUOTE]
Thanks, pop my little bubble of bliss, I still Want One Even More Now!!!!:nutkick:

they are a truely beautiful fish, and i think it makes it look even more elegant, i can only imagine what they are like moving in person. however i'd still take a red over that (if not counting money)

Even if that variety were cheaper than the normal coloration, I would still want one. THE COLORATION IS TO DIE FOR! Takes your breath away.
Now thank you! I agree, wonder if a can of white spray paint would be a close match? :evil_lol:

I posted the above pics earlier this year. The source referred to it as a snow arowana, but I think you're correct in that it's just a whiter version of a platinum..

the posted pic is a snow. the snow is a mutation of south american arowanas. platinums are for the asian cross-back golden variety which have platinum-silver base scale colors and even platinum dots or streaks on the heads and gill covers.

as for temperament, snow aros are much like silvers and blacks
