One of the really nice perks of being a teacher - Snow Days :)

For those of you that live in warmer climates I am sorry. Then again, you probably get Hurricane Days or Earthquake Days (thinking of you, Gr8) or Heat Wave Days.

The best part about Snow days is that they come as a surprise - I love those 5:30 A.M. phone calls!

Right now it is beautiful but very cold at 20F - it doesn't get a whole lot colder here.

Very nice pic. We did have snow in Houston last week about 11 flakes. Called my parents in Juneau, Ak, they had 11 inches the same day. Enjoy your day off.

In Houston we don't have snow days, just hurricane days.
 
I'm pretty sure kids in my area had a snow day today. Unfortunately for us working stiffs we don't get that pleasure. We have to risk our lives on the icey roads to work. Freakin' yesterday morning it was raining and then in the afternoon we got a blizzard. I hate Minnesota.
 
Wind chill is -25 (yes negative) and we still have school here
 
just beautiful... so what are you going to do today?:D
