I used to get irritated at school, but never called it slavery. You really need to wake up and stop being such a brat.

crashinc25;1699729; said:Maybe you should look at this differently. Think of this "slavery" as conditioning for later on in life. I went to private schools learning 3 languages in every subject. I had after school tutoring and work since I was 16. I hated it. I despised my parents for putting me through it. Fast forward to just a mere 10 years ago when I bought my company from my father, the slave driver. I now work for myself, set industry trends, take off time when I want, and rake in the cash being the best in the business all thanks to the hard work I was "forced" to do. Look farther than the bakery position. Think bigger than tomorrow.
Aren't we all painting a pretty picture for him!
) but that doesn't mean that now that I'm out of school my life sucks. It's all about your perspective, and you can have a good one now, if you choose. I believe everyday is a gift, and I try to be grateful for it.hamato_yoshii;1700145; said:Aren't we all painting a pretty picture for him!
Ok, I work hard too, also have graduated from college once, and am in the midst of going back, getting married, buying a house, all kinds of "hard" stuff, but I'm having fun. It certainly is not easy, but it doesn't have to suck. I loved high school and I wish I could go back too (I'm reminded everyday because I work across the street!) but that doesn't mean that now that I'm out of school my life sucks. Good point. I've been out of school for a while now, and I don't hate waking up in the morning. Do what you can with school so you can do what you enjoy when you're out. It doesn't have to suck. Very true.hamato_yoshii;1700145; said:Aren't we all painting a pretty picture for him!
