So basically, some news in the fishroom

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
so to start this week off, everything is pretty much the same, fry are growing nicely, nothing has died
however,
my biggest girardinus metallicus finally dropped fry-

So far I've pulled 19 but 2 have bent spines.
Hoping the 17 good ones make it, I only bought 6 adults because I knew I could make more for myself. I just gave them their first feeding of bbs.
The hornwort jungle did its job in hiding them, the most I saw outside of it was 6 at a time. Bear in mind there are 5 adults (which were pretty disinterested because the fry were born as big as my 2 month old nanolutea fry) and 2 adult x.pygmaeus, along with my pair of nanolutea. I'm glad I got this many out, I thought it was only the 6 I saw before and I was gonna be happy with that, but this is even better. Can't wait to have a good colony going.
Also my trimac (who I have not gotten recent pictures of)'s dorsal spot is becoming more and more defined. She is starting to get some extra coloration on her fins. She is an F1 rio niltepec from max cichlids so I'm sure she's gonna be a very nice looking fish when she's bigger.
