So Cal tanks too hot!! 89+ deg?

I keep 2L bottles in the freezer for just the occassion. My goldfish tank in the garage got to 96ºF and the fish are okay. Massive aeration and overfiltration( water movement) coupled with the frozen 2L bottles save the day.

I have a fan blowing accross the sump on my 210 and the temp is steady at 84ºF. Not ideal temp but at least they will beokay till it cools down.

It keeps my tanks cool


But it also doesnt help that my room faces direct sunlight all day

Nope inside the house. Yes, it does get that hot inside the house. Plus acrylic traps all the heat.

It does get really hot in Cali houses, especially in the summers

im in san diego
and my tank is holding on strong at 84 it doesnt get above that
thoes marienland heaters
think called stealth pro
turn off all day
just the heat alone keeps the tank at 84
