So green, so brown... the horror

A skimmer would be a good investment...

And the worms are most likely just bristle worms. i don't think they can be harmful, and are pretty much a natural part of a new tank. They will go away soon enough. Some things eat them.

Sok its better to learn now then in a few months. As a rule of thumb sources of nitrogen is the largest cause of algal blooms, but the second largest is phosphorous sorces. As long as you keep those in check and have a good clean up crew your cleaning will be minimal. You will still have to clean yourself but not to much.

I went to LFS yesterday and got a proper crew. For my 90 gallon they suggested (10) mini hernit crabs, (6) snails... the kind that burrow into the sand, (4) larger snails. The algea was gone in about 5 hours!!!!! I hope there aren't too many!

That should be good.

Miscount on the red tip hermit crabs... there are maore like 20... are they going to eat all my good algae??? If so, I will take some out..please advise

hermit crab's don't really eat algae unless they are so desperate for food then maybe they'll eat algae a good snail crew like cerith, astreia, abalone, trochus are all great choice's to keep that algae in check.
