I think that bottom stud that rests against concrete should be PT, but it looks good. The insulation is coming along nicely.

That's the "sill plate".... Actually It almost looks like it is PT. It's got more of a greenish tint instead of a orange yellowish tint like non-PT does...

Looking good though. Do you have a Floor plan to share of before and after ideas.....

thanks all! ill be honest the bottom 2x4s are just like all the others. im far far from a contractor and have never built anything like this. when i was in home depo i just started grabbing and loading up carts lol. rooms comming along pretty good considering the time im getting to actualy spend on it. i took some shots tonight and im also far far from a photographer lol. ill post them up in a few. i have an idea of floor plan but im sure it will change. right now i have about 30 tanks give or take. im planning on replacing some 20s with 40s adding a few more 60s-80s. ill have an entire wall that i can stack tanks on. but for some reason i see a 2 feet deep 3 foot wide 16 long pond with dividers going there. i can have tanks stacked above that. i think that would be pretty dope. ill just use styro sheets to cover to hold heat in.

i have this room with so many things i can do. its kinda making me crazy. my first shelf is almost finished and puting a 6 footer on it. im stoked on that cause it wasnt meant to be a stand. its a cut out in the room so my bug can still fit in the garage lol.

heres a few shots from my phone tonight. its ruff but i promise it will end up looking sweet. just bought a new framed walk in door. installing it soon.
tomorrow i should get a buttload of work done. should have the drywall up where my car goes just need to add the rest of supports for the stand and screw it all together. adding 6 cerwin vega bookshelf speakers in the corners. gonna do wiring soon before inside drywall goes up.

On your drywall corner, you'll want to grab a corner from Home Depot. It's a preformed metal corner attached to drywall tape. It will save you from the occasional dings that will ruin the corner. Looking good!
